  14. 1  Few words about Realtech from EXECOM ...
  15. ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

  17. Realtech is a demo-maker group (people doing realtime multimedia
  18. presentations). 
  19.  
  20. We form the group in 1994, and we release our first megademo, 'Megamix' at
  21. the biggest demo-convention, the Assembly, held in Helsinki, Finland.
  22.  
  23. In the very same year, we improved our 3D engine and realtime a vector demo
  24. called 'Dimension' at the Party IV, the largest demo party in Danemark.
  25. It came 5th best PC demo.
  26.  
  27. Then we decide to release only 3D realtime demonstrations. In 1995, we broken 
  28. the limit of VGA at Assembly 95, releasing the real first Super VGA full 
  29. screen 3D demonstration 'DX Project' which came 3rd best PC demo.
  30.  
  31. The SuperVGA became our speciality. At the Wired 95, we released on of the
  32. first VESA 2.00 Super VGA 3D demonstration (CountDown), the first demo which 
  33. is ' smooth ever in 1024x768' says the press (came 5th)
  34.  
  35. At the Party V, we release a HiColor Super VGA demonstration, and an other
  36. SuperVGA demo (Aquaphobia).
  37.  
  38. Now, we have really improve our engine, and we are making games. We are
  39. now Realtech VR (VR stands for Virtual Reality).
  40.   
  41. We also developping for the brain new machine, the BeBox. It features 2 
  42. PowerPC 603 at 66Mhz of 133Mhz, and 8 processors can be mounted on the 
  43. machine. A high performance PCI bus, and a lot of external connection,
  44. and a high quality sound card. A demonstration will be release maybe for 
  45. Assembly'97). We think that is the real successor of the Amiga.
